Manuals that read right, in every language you sell in.

Technilingual turns English technical manuals into accurate, formatted, multilingual documentation — without the per-word cost spiral or the formatting clean-up afterwards.

Scroll
The problem

Translation shouldn't break your manual.

Every product update means paying for another full translation — and still fixing what comes back.

Cost

Per-word pricing punishes updates

Every revision means paying full rate again, even for a manual that's 90% the same as last time.

Formatting

Layout breaks on the way back

Tables, contents pages, headings and warning boxes rarely survive translation intact.

Consistency

Terms drift between documents

The same part or warning gets worded three different ways across your product range.

Repetition

Nothing is reusable

Without a language base, every new manual starts from zero — and costs like it too.

How it works

One workflow, six checkpoints.

The workflow is the product — not just a translation tool pointed at your files.

01

Intake & glossary

Files, languages and terminology extracted before anything is translated.

02

AI-assisted translation

Draft translation applied with glossary rules enforced throughout.

03

Formatting repair

Headings, tables, numbering and captions checked and rebuilt.

04

Technical QA

Section-by-section comparison against the source, flagging anything uncertain.

05

Optional reviewer

Native or subject-aware reviewer for safety-critical wording.

06

Final delivery

Translated files, glossary and QA notes, ready to publish.

FAQ

Common questions.

If something's not covered here, just ask in the quote form below.

How do I send you the files?

Once we've agreed a quote, just reply to that email with your document attached — Word, PDF, or whatever format you have. No portal, no account to set up. If you haven't got a quote yet, submit the form below first and we'll take it from there.

When do I pay?

After the work is complete and delivered — not upfront. You'll receive the final translated files, glossary, and QA notes together with an invoice.

Which languages can you translate to?

Any language, and as many as you need for a single document. German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin — if you sell into a market, we can very likely translate into that market's language.

What's the actual difference between the tiers?

Tier 1 is designed for low-importance documents — leaflets, information sheets, and other low-risk material. Tier 2 is best used for safety information and other important, customer-facing documentation, with a full technical QA pass and formatting repair included. Tier 3 is for crucial and critical information that is of utmost importance to the consumer, adding a native or technical reviewer on top of everything in Tier 2.

How long will my translation take?

It depends on word count, number of languages, and formatting complexity, so turnaround is agreed as part of your quote rather than a fixed number upfront — you'll know exactly when to expect it before any work starts.

What file formats do you accept?

Word and PDF are most common, but send whatever you have — we'll flag if anything needs converting first.

Is my document kept confidential?

Yes. Files are handled under confidentiality by default. Documents are deleted one week after payment is completed, giving you a window to request any post-purchase revisions before they're removed.
